KID MIN (Children’s Ministries) at First Baptist Church include all children from birth to 6th grade.
NURSERIES
We have both Infant (0-1 years old) and Toddler (2-3 years old) nurseries during all Worship services and Bible Study (Sunday School) hour on Sunday mornings. They are also offered on Wednesday nights during midweek services. Nurseries are often offered for additional church events as well (check event information for details).
Bible Studies (Sunday School)
These are offered each Sunday at 9:45 to 10:45. We provide the following ages (& locations)
- Preschool & Kindergarten | Upstairs Office Hallway (main building)
- 1st & 2nd Grades | Basement B10 (main building)
- 3rd & 4th Grades | Basement B (main building)
- 5th & 6th Grades | Basement B8 (main building)
Midweek Services
Wednesday nights at 7PM to 8PM KID MIN meets for a weekly Discipleship group for 1st to 6th graders in room B10 (main building). The purpose of this time is to build up disciples for Christ (Kingdom Workers). This time includes teaching and practicing spiritual disciplines. They are regularly memorizing scripture and learning to share the gospel. They are given weekly challenges to take home and do with their parents (that can get a prize for completing). We also have fun singing songs, playing games, and using interactive funny and teaching videos.
